About the Role:
As a Deputy Manager, you will:
- Support the Registered Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and Ofsted regulations.
- Act as the Registered Manager in their absence.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people, ensuring their needs are recognised and met.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for young people, free from discrimination.
- Lead, plan, and manage shifts to ensure children are engaged and safe throughout the day.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with families, social workers, schools, and other professionals.
- Oversee and contribute to the development of care plans and case files.
- Promote and support young peoples education, ensuring attendance and engagement.
What Were Looking For:
- At least 2 years experience in support work, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills and a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Commitment to delivering a high standard of care and working effectively as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
- Ability to relocate or reliably commute to Tilbury is essential.
